This policy explains what cookies Nousara uses, why, and how you can change your choice at any time. We have kept it as plain as we can, because some of the people this affects are children.
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed for the site to work; others are optional and only used if you agree.
These are required for the platform to function and do not need your consent. They include:
You can block these in your browser, but parts of the platform will not work.
If you agree, we use Contentsquare (part of the Hotjar and Contentsquare group) to understand how tutors use the platform so we can improve it. This may include aggregated behavioural analytics and session replay of adult, tutor-facing pages. We do not run these analytics on pages that show a child's data, on the parent portal, or on any consent page, and text and inputs are masked. These cookies are only set after you select Accept.
You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer, which reopens your preferences. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings. If you reject the optional cookies, the platform still works fully; we simply do not collect analytics.
We do not present analytics or tracking to students, and session analytics never run on student-facing pages. Where a child uses a limited account, only strictly necessary cookies are used.
